They are sturdy and held up well. Honestly, you could wash these and reuse - they are that sturdy, and the lids mean you can prepare something the day before your party and store in frig! I have already purchase a second set for my daughter to use!

--The lids I got were NOT the deep ones in the photo or in one of the reviews. The ones I received are simple, flat, flimsy lids that snap on, but not as securely as I'd like.
--These do not stack more than ~3 high max as the lids are a bit flimsy. Even then they are at risk of slipping and falling over. The lids also do not snap on that tight. I worry they might leak.
--These cups themselves are fine.
The paper ones:

--Once full, you can stack them 6-8 high without worry.
--They are quite sturdy.
--I do not know about the "green" impact of the plastic lids of the paper cups. Tough they seem low number recycle.
--Cost a tiny bit less than these plastic ones
